The RVA Comedy Acoustics Coalition
The Coalition Theater has fostered a strong sense of community and creativity in Richmond, VA since it's first form in 2009, becoming an essential part of the city's performing arts scene. Coalition has provided a supportive, inclusive community and space for countless performers to learn and hone their comedic craft.
I've been going there 7 years, met so many people, so many opportunities, shows, laughs, growth -- I even met my wife there!
I want to help the theater continue to provide the community with what it has provided me.
I'm working with Coalition Theater to coordinate improvements to the acoustics and related systems.
We are doing a top-to-bottom overhaul of performance training, sound equipment optimization, expert recommendations, and every little thing to move the needle.
I plan to solve this for the theater as way to give back.
At the end of a year, I will deliver a detailed, multi-tiered plan for how to bring the theater up to sonic standards. This plan will have actionable quotes, and I will be ready to personally coordinate their implementation.
